Ottawa, Kansas-based debt collection firm National Recovery Services intends to expand its office to make room for a new third-party collection arena - bank card debt, insideARM reports. NRS, which specializes in commercial, medical, bank card, telecom, utilities and consumer loan debt, recently acquired 3,500 square feet of additional space to house the new unit. The acquisition pushes its total office space to 7,000 square feet. "The new space has allowed us to reach out to surrounding communities to hire qualified collectors throughout this growth process," CEO Brad DeKraai told the news source. "Sedona Staffing in Lawrence, Kansas, has been extremely useful qualifying potential employment candidates to staff our growing company." NRS's expansion is intended to better serve its current and future clients, and it plans to open the bank debt section later this month. According to its website, NRS has created nearly 250,000 jobs through its services, and has collected upwards of $36 billion since its inception in October 2007.
