Industry professionals in the credit risk management field will soon gather at the Ritz Charles in Overland Park, Kansas, for a seminar focusing on credit risk management.
In a statement, the Kansas Society of CPAs announced that it would be holding its annual Risk Management Conference on May 16, 2011. This year's conference is entitled "Creating a Risk Intelligent Enterprise Best Practices in Risk Management and Security & Privacy," and will educate those in attendance on best practices when it comes to conducting business. Kurt Manske, a regional cyber leader and one of the conference's sponsors, said that his firm was pleased to be able to support the event. "Because our firm focuses on helping companies manage risk and improve business performance, we were particularly delighted to sponsor this educational event by the KSCPA on the subject of risk management," said Manske. According to its website, the KSCPA seeks to assists its members by lobbying for beneficial legislation at the Kansas Statehouse and through relationships with the Kansas Department of Revenue and the IRS.
