A business software firm that helps tanning salons manage their marketing, human resources and customer service will now be able to integrate mobile payments and loyalty rewards into their strategy.
SunLync Software is working with Merchant Warehouse, a payment technology firm to develop new point-of-sale options for its clients. The partnership will allow SunLync to use Merchant Warehouse's Genius Customer Engagement Platform to broaden its customers' business management.
Consumers are increasingly using their smartphones and tablets to make payments with debit, credit and prepaid ACH cards. In-store mobile payments is the fastest growing segment of m-commerce, according to a recent report by Forester Research.
"It is our goal to deliver a product that enables our customers to grow their businesses in every way possible," said Melissa Damiani, sales manager for SunLync. "With this new partnership, the merchants we serve will have the option to accept any type of payment, ensuring that they don't miss out on any business opportunities."
Loyalty rewards and discounts will be built into the system to further personalize the customer relationship with the salons they frequent, she said.
