Fair Isaac's new Falcon ID

As an ideal defense against identity fraud, Falcon ID gives banks, card issuers, retailers, telecom providers, mortgage lenders and other credit grantors the power to quickly detect and efficiently resolve identity fraud attempts specifically at the point of application. Falcon ID combines superior detection power with Fair Isaac's patented technologies.

Falcon Id gives you a real-time scoring solution for predicting the likelihood of a stolen or fabricated identity in an application, transaction, account change or collections. Using advanced analytics, neural network-based models and extensive data integration capabilities, Falcon ID manages multiple internal and external data sources to protection your company, your prospects and your customers from identity fraud.

MicroBilt has integrated two of these Falcon ID products into our tool kit and made available for system developers. They are 'Identity Check' and 'Grid Score'.

  Falcon ID 'Identity Check'
Validates personal information. For example, it checks if a social security number has a death claim, or if your phone number is valid. There are thirty Identity Check flags that are computed from data sources such as social security number, home phone, home address, driver's license, work phone, work ZIP code, and the Unites States government's list of known terrorists and criminals. The flags can have one of three values: PASS, FAIL, or UNKNOWN.*Identity Check variables get passed into the neural network model that calculates the Falcon ID Grid Score.
   
  Falcon ID 'Grid Score'
Deploys Fair Isaac's custom neural network models built upon Industry data, combined with industry consortium information to reliably detect ID fraud risk. Utilizing the Grid Score enables you to take advantage of unique industry data from the Falcon ID consortium based on prior fraudulent application data. You gain the advantage of priceless fraud data from a cross industry consortium you otherwise would not have access.

eAuthenticate

eAuthenticate is a service which consists of auto generated questions and answers that will test the true identity of an individual. These questions are based on their robust public record database. You validate a customer by asking 'out of wallet' questions that only the applicant would know. Examples of questions could include:

  In which state was your SSN issued?
  In which of the counties below have you lived?
  What year is your Ford Explorer?
  What color is your Ford Explorer?
  Who is the lien holder for your Ford Explorer?
  Which of the following vehicles do you own?
  Which of the following people do you know?

Based on a sampling of questions and answers the interface then prompts for an eAuthenticate Score which then can be utilized for proceeding with the credit process or application based on the authenticity of the prospect. These questions can be asked in a call center environment or through an online interface that the applicant could answer directly. These questions can also be of use in validating an existing customer prior to releasing critical account information.

  SKIP TRACER
In the collections environment, collection portfolios often times have contact information that is 90+ days old. Skip Tracer automatically queries an individual, address and/or phone number to get real time contact information, capturing new or moved information, thus client revenue is maximized through proactive debt collection and cost of service is minimized. Skip Tracer reduces the need for multi-vendor data search for right-party contact information. Proven results have shown a 3X increase in revenue using Skip Tracer. For collectors, when a definitive match cannot be confirmed, you can get up to 3 best results returned.
   
  REVERSE PHONE SEARCH
Query a phone number and get results with a full name, address and any other available information such as when phone was connected, etc. associated with the phone number provided.
   
  REVERSE ADDRESS SEARCH
Query an address and get results which include names, phone number and any other available data associated with the address provided.

It is important to note that the Qsent data is confirming valid phone or address and also returning what information is associated with the data provided but not validating the data.
Enhancements

At MicroBilt, we continually strive to upgrade and enhance our tool kit offerings. Below are recent enhancements designed specifically at the request of our client developers and programmers.

Added Sub Code Data to MicroMerge Trade Lines
For customers wanting a way of identifying which subscriber is associated to which merged trade line. The bureau subscriber code now appears in the expanded (original) bureau trade line section when you click on the MicroMerge trade line icon [+].

Added Equifax Canadian to XML Interface
Added Equifax Canadian Commercial requests to the XML Interface.

Experian Pin# Keyword Change for Security Freezes
Experian modified how to submit PIN#'s to unlock "frozen" files, using the "FRZKY-" keyword.

Decision Table to Use Multiple Raw Files
Decision Table can now analyze multiple (up to four) bureau response files when using rules from multiple data sources.

Experian Business Reports Now Use Graphic Output
Added more Experian Business products using the graphical output files.

Parsing the Bureau Score from the TTY
MicroBilt's XML output now parses scorecard (only) data from PRINT IMAGE reports from the 3 main credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, & Trans Union). This data now appears inside MicroBilt's CCSCORES XML structure.
