MicroBilt Appoints Barry Connelly to Serve on Board of Directors
KENNESAW, GA – September 6th, 2007 – MicroBilt, the single source and industry leader for risk management information, today announced the appointment of Barry Connelly to the Board of Directors. Barry joins MicroBilt as an expert in credit information and serves as a consultant to foreign governments and financial service organizations around the world.
Mr.Connelly also serves as a Director of First Advantage Corporation (NASDAQ: FADV) in St. Petersburg, FL and a Director of Collection House, (ASX: CLH) headquartered in Brisbane, Australia. Mr. Connelly brings to MicroBilt extensive expertise with foreign partners where he has organized the Global Consumer Credit Reporting Network, bringing together consumer-reporting companies from more than 34 countries.
In December 2002, Mr. Connelly retired from the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) after 33 years of service, including eight years as president. During his tenure with the CDIA, Mr. Connelly was a principal contributor in drafting the innaugral Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1970 and its successor in 1997 (FCRA). He has been retained by numerous organizations in state and federal courts as an expert witness in FCRA cases. Mr. Connelly graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Journalism degree.
