Innovative Collection Solution Debuts as Add-On to CreditCommander.com, Designed to Shorten Collection Cycle
MicroBilt Corporation, leading online provider of credit bureau reporting has announced the release of their new Online Collection Service at creditcommander.microbilt.com
, now one site offering both credit and collection services. Over 30,000 users have relied on CreditCommander.com for delivering online instant credit reports and can now rely on the same site to collect their outstanding uncollected debt.
MicroBilt has added the online collection service to provide greater value to their customers and the CreditCommander.com web site. The online collections service is yet another tool for decreasing costs, increasing available time to develop new business and improve risk management. Whether the customer has one account that needs collected or thousands, they can begin the collection process immediately, shortening the collection cycle with greater chances of full payment. Through both early and late stage collection efforts, MicroBilt uses highly effective people, technology and collection techniques to recover past due receivables.
CreditCommander.com customers have the option of entering their collection accounts online, importing a file or sending hard copies to MicroBilt for manual upload. Once uploaded, customers can then manage their collection accounts online by verifying balances, monitoring account activity and reporting direct payments made by their customers. Fees are charged only when collection results are successful. Uncollected balances are reported to the credit bureaus.
CreditCommander.com, the first online credit reporting site to provide access to all credit reporting bureaus and provide multi-user access, was launched back in 2000. MicroBilt has continued to upgrade the site with new releases monthly and now includes feature functionality such as tri-merge reporting, import-export web enabled batch processing, security features that limit usage by designating specific IP addresses, time and day per user and a social security search to eliminate duplicate reports saving money on excessive report pulls.
In a recent survey, 98% of CreditCommander.com customers reported they were 'extremely satisfied' with the overall performance and functionality of the site. In addition, the survey indicated that customers would like to see online collection services added to the functionality of the site. The addition of the collections service is just the beginning of how MicroBilt plans to automate data source access more intelligently to meet the needs and requests of their customers.
"In response to customer interest and demand, it only made sense for us to add the collection service for our users to access online through CreditCommander.com," said Ken Hill, President of MicroBilt Corporation. "If you have customers pulling credit reports, more than likely you have customers incurring some outstanding debt and need assistance with collection efforts." According to Hill, "MicroBilt's goal with CreditCommander.com is to continually meet the demands of our growing client base by making it easier and more efficient for users to do their jobs. This collection tool creates an easy online solution for credit areas to collect outstanding debt."
As credit and collections issues have come to the forefront with the weakened economy, companies of all sizes and industries are looking for ways to minimize risk and maximize collection efforts. Through CreditCommander.com, MicroBilt provides end-to-end credit, first and third party collections services and is the credit professional’s single source for driving smart business decisions and risk management.
